Designation : Manager / Sr. Manager – PE (Product Engineering) / New Product Development
Experience : 12 to 20 yrs.
Location : Ludhiana
Qualification : 4 Years Diploma / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering
CTC Offered : 45-65k depending on Core Expertise and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform a full lifecycle product development (design, develop, test prototypes, manufacture and implement)
• Feasibility study of component received from customer/marketing dept.
• Prepare comprehensive project plans with technical objectives and detailed cost estimates.
• Analyze product cost and prepare schedule plans for effective implementation of projects.
• Coordinate with team to prepare efficient products.
• Analyze market environment and develop new products for same.
• Identify and implement design improvements in existing & new product (functionality, cost, design for manufacture).
• Review designs and perform tests on products.
• Monitor work of new product development team & provide guidance to various new products and processes.
• Coordinate with various departments and manage engineering and manufacturing process for new products.
• Monitor all the activities for product development.
• Project based payment and incentive to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Key Skills:
• Key in-depth knowledge to design and develop Agri. Machinery, Power Products
• Thorough working knowledge of Manufacturing processes – Machining, Sheet Metal, Plastic Molding, Pressure Die Casting and Welding & Assembly
• Manufacturing Friendly and Cost Effective Innovative Designing
• Auto CAD, 3D Software (NX), Unigraphics
• APQP , PPAP, PFEMA knowledge
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Knowledge about quality measuring tools
• Strong Technical Knowledge of Design, Development, Manufacturing, Testing & Validation, Quality, Vendor Development, Tool Room, Sheet Metal, Plastic Moulding, Pressure Die Casting, Jigs & Fixtures, Problem Solving, CAPA, Strong Communication Skill, Team Building, 5S, TS, ISO, Proto Shop, Assembly Line setup, Costing
